We are proud to announce that iG Logistics has secured landing craft, LCT M.V. iG Sun Tzu.
Named after renowned Chinese general, military strategist, and philosopher, Sun Tzu, also rendered as Sun Zi ( 孙子 ), lived in the Spring and Autumn period of ancient China. SunTzu is traditionally credited as the author of The Art of War ( 孙子兵法 ), a widely influential work of military strategy that has affected both Western and Eastern philosophy. Aside from his legacy as the author of The Art of War, Sun Tzu is revered in Chinese and the Culture of Asia as a legendary historical figure.
iG Sun Tzu successfully set on her maiden voyage on November 2014, where she departed from Jurong Port at 0900hrs. Her journey took 4 hours and she arrived at Port Sekupang, Batam at 1300hrs.
iG Sun Tzu is catered for project shipping, bearing the Singapore State flag, and with Bureau Veritas classification and certified by classification society IMDG (for dangerous goods). iG Sun Tzu can reach up to 11.3 knots, and can carry up to 36 TEUs per journey on RORO trailers, making her our main vessel for logistics transport between Singapore & Indonesia.
